When you donate a vehicle:

* You will receive a tax-deduction for the full sale value of your car, a value usually much higher than trade-in value on a new vehicle. You may be able to save more on taxes than you would earn from the sale of the
vehicle.

* We provide you with a donation letter that allows you to take a tax deduction.

* SPCA of Connecticut, Inc. will receive the entire revenue from the sale of the car, unlike many charities that utilize car dealers and auction houses and don't fully benefit from these donations. You will have the satisfaction of knowing that 100% of your donation will go to helping us save homeless cats and dogs.

* Your vehicle will be handled by SPCA of Connecticut, Inc. professionals, who will fill out all necessary paperwork for you.

* SPCA of Connecticut, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization qualified to receive tax deductible donations or contributions.

* Towing or pick-up is available at no cost to you.
